Przemysl refugee center

Starting in February, 2022, over 14million Ukrainians are believed to have fled their homes and crossed into neighboring Poland, Moldova, Slovakia and onwards throughout Europe. The international response was one of extreme compassion and generosity, but ultimately the resources to support such an exodus long term were destined to be significantly tested.

It came down to individuals and small charities like www.lovebristol.org(representing the UK ) to step up and help. For over a year, volunteers have put their regular lives on hold to fill out visa applications, find host families in the UK, do background screens, translate and take care of Ukrainians, many arriving shell-shocked and needed medical attention at makeshift refugee camps like this one in the small town Przemysl on the Polish border with Ukraine.

Love Bristol led by its amazing founder Greg T, continues to work with its army of volunteer drivers, buying 100's of generators and delivering them to high-capacity shelters insider Ukraine, as well as supporting half-way homes in Poland and resettled families in UK.

We are pleased to have been able to facilitate $5,000 USD for generators thanks to Angels of Hope, Love is real
